    A bit of current through some tungsten makes for a much more pleasant light than LEDs. LEDs are not able to give a normal spectrum of white light - it's actually a mix of red, blue, maybe some green....

    Pete_D I wouldn't, unless the scope has a blurb saying it's made for springer air rifles. Springer rifles DO have a phenomenon called double recoil and it can chew up a good scope not designed...
