   272171 Partner shot this yesterday. Public land north Canterbury. 1000 metres vertical climbing. Measured 34 inches, extremely even. A fantastic first public land deer.

   Just be aware DOC intend to be working from the Pouther Trust Hut any time now during the roar - survey work - they intend to fly in some staff. So just an awareness for hunters in the same area.
