Yep, the old Bostich staplers made good .22 RF firing mechanism, giving a full width strike like the Gevarm bolts. I would probably have a slightly more robust barrel mounting though!

Marky your best bet is to send bits to Heat Treatments L T D in Stoddard road A K L, they Nitride hardened my Sharps action and breech block, so no wear , comes out mat grey and still can be blued ....
