   Where I grew up, the kill area on a deer was at least as big as a dinner plate - so 300-400mm across. I always sighted my hunting rifles in to be 50mm high at 100 metres - and the kill area on a deer...

   I dial so I zero bang on at 100. When I walk around with the rifle though I have my dial wound up 1 - 2 moa which replicates a 200m zero and gives me a better max point blank range for rushed shots...
