   Yes I’m sceptical about the 1600fps claim as well. Can’t imagine a lot of expansion on a fallow spiker at that velocity! Time will tell but I’m wanting to believe Hornady’s propaganda :D...

   I run 168eldm at 2580fps at mag length in my 15 inch 308 3shots touching @100 haven't tryed them out on deer yet... Here's sterlock drop chart of 168eldm @2400fps with 200 meter zero 142694

   I got a kids wetsuit from the op shop for $4. So far it's made about 10 scope covers for my rifles and a few mates/family. With some careful cutting one of covers is even branded RipCurl.

   you are only able to get the subx range in NZ at the moment 300blk, 3030, 308, 450BM 30cal is my favorite size for subs, bigger is better but louder Ill make some 243 subs up at some stage...
