The 200 Merino is a blend with polyester. I loved mine when i first got it. Light and warm. Still needed another fleece layer over the top of it though if it was cold. Wears out pretty quick though....

As others mention, S&B and Privi stuff is easy to get and wont break the bank, ie $45-$50 a box. Federal (blue box) will usually be around the $65-70 mark.... so ouch.
