Actually, strictly speaking .375 is medium bore if we are to correctly categorize. But, I know, big bore sounds so much more manly and grown up. Won't hurt to keep it that way.;);)

Take some trekking poles, they can double as tent poles. Really helps the knees on the downhill carry with a load of meat too.
