I have used shooter since it came out. Has worked flawlessly for me over several calibers out to 1250 yrds. Even LR 22RF I have tried others but got to know shooter so well I just found it easier...

For a hunting situation, just get Leica handheld rangefinder. They are the reason the Swaro and Ziess stopped making handheld rangefinders and only do integrated binocular ones now.

160 gn partition would be my 1st choice out of 7mmRM for big stuff, & for the ranges you’ve stated. Bonded pills like 160Abs or 150gn Swift Scirocco would also be pretty useful

Not necessarily. You will notice on the seating stroke if anything is untoward. I have been doing it awhile but pretty sure using the same projectiles, the seating is easier opposed to using a...

Some knives I have made from diamond blades, jimmy bars, and even a salvaged chainplate off the Rewa wreck in the Mahurangi harbour in my sailing days. The scabbards are made from PVC waste pipe...

I will be interested to see if you can see the difference or it just gets lost in the noise of all the other factors that come into longer range shooting. And if you do notice a real difference...

Greetings All, The curmudgeon here. The 6.8 Western or the .270 Winchester slightly shorter magnum as I will call it will give little more than a standard .270 Win with a fast twist barrel. Speer...
