Wouldn't mind something a bit "nicer" (they told me this would happen when I got my first Sako..) but I suppose the whole idea of a pig is exactly that it's just a thrasher, have only put a crappy...

dannyb liked post by Seventenths On thread : 284 win vs 280ai
I’m a big fan of the .284 having had one with a 16 inch barrel and now a 20 inch & love it even more. I also had a .280 rem for a while and can also attest the recoil is more than a .284 Not...

I got out for a couple of hours pest shooting in the orchard. Took a retired neighbor who ive done a bit of deer hunting with, he'd just purchased a new carbon fully suppressed barreled ruger 10/22...

A lot of my clients, friends and people who have helped me now have bracelets done out of copper wire. These bracelets are getting to be pretty popular and there are quite a few different styles for...

dannyb liked post by GWH On thread : The model 7 in your life
Back in December 2019 a good ole hunting mate was very sadly taken from us quite a few years too soon. Wayno had and loved his original model 7 in 243 win. He'd used it to hunt rereationally and...

dannyb liked post by Gerardo On thread : RCBS chargemaster lite issues
You could try putting ferrite beads on the power cable. They help reduce electrical "noise" coming down the power cable. They're not expensive and improved things for me. I also bought an anti...

That's a cunning idea... might have to give that a go. Still wouldn't mind a swivel knife though. It's surprising what you can do with a small blunt instrument though. Missus bought a Suzuki 4wd...

skittery as heck...the constant noise upsets them and swirling breeze makes it a PIA to stalk.....the bit before a southerly hits can be really interesting .

dannyb liked post by zarathustra On thread : Scope running out of elevation adjustment (Shooting too high)
Since you tested the scope on two other rifles with two other rings it sounds like a bent scope tube which you can test like MD said. Another way to test at home is to roll the scope along a desk....
