Up until 30 years ago and probably now still, presses and tooling just like that were being used throughout NZ for manufacturing components. No reason those guy wouldn't be turning out perfectly...

The Mount was a regular for me as well. Used to run up via the goat track, not sure if it is still an option or whether it's been changed? Still, great for a workout and rewarded at the top!
