    I tried GM's 308 with and without the suppressor. To me it felt like a 30-50% reduction in recoil with the suppressor on. Unsure about noise levels as at range and had ear muffs on.

    They will reduce recoil varying amounts and almost always increase velocity a little.(10-50fps)
