   Taupo rivers are a classic for this sort of behaviour. You don't even need to have touched a fish, but if you're in a pool and there's empty water above and below, then 9 times out of 10 somebody...

    Its a culture thing I'm afraid.....and its not just Asians ,Europeans do it too...you can have camp set up somewhere and they will turn up and set up a tent dam near touching yours when they could be...

    Ok. Trying to stay out of this but… 165gr SST’s at a relatively low velocity work. Or any SST end of story. That’s what they are designed for. Out of my 308 at 2570 they kill. Up close and out far....
