   It'll work. But I can think of better actions to start with. The Ruger American is one My 6arc is a howa 1500. With the bolt face sleeved down. Run mdt acis 6 arc mags, with no feed issues

   It’s easy to replace a scope later of you need quick cash a rifle however isn’t as easy, I highly rate the vx5 had both and would rather the vx5 for the low turrets and awesome zero lock

    85gr Sierra HPBT would be a good bullet to try, should be ideal as a deer round in the 6ARC. They perform well in my 6x45.
