I like “beyond the kill”. It’s sheep and mountain hunting focused for NA but applicable more broadly. Often has great guests. Every second cast is about fitness, health, injury repair and management...

I had a look in the back of my safes and found a few hiding, unused, unloved… A reminder of the days when you found bits cheap and cobbled together rifles which ultimately cost a fair bit! ...

Correct, guilty to both declining eye sight and fat fingers! Yes with modern pills, better powders and probably barrels also, the old 06 is a beautiful thing. I like 165 as lighter lighter load....

If you have no joy with Superperformance, 2209 is magic dust in the .30/06. Work up from 55 to 57 gns behind a cup and core 180 gn pill for 2800 to 2850 fps -24 inch tube. W RP / WW brass, fed...

With a 22 inch bbl and a 130 gn, 3000 to 3050 fps is about the most you will get with most powders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
