Wood stocks might not rot but after a week in the rain I’ve had them swell considerably so safety’s would function and likely impacted the accuracy. It’s good to take this out of the equation.

My .02 for what it’s worth. Identify the case that’s the tightest to chamber in your rifle. Use that case to set your FL die. Gradually adjust the die down till it chambers with just minimal force....
