Same goes with any animal. There is nothing dumber than taking pot shots.

Looking at a bolt gun that is chambered for .223, Pretty keen as it is cheap to shoot and is a pretty quick little round. I'd want it for both a bush gun and range gun. Would this be okay to...

Wow - fantastic to share that experience with you through your video... you are a lot calmer than I would've been after making such a great shot. My first stag was a 40x40 red on the Crow River...

Get a copy of the book called "Spot X". It will be a great help. There are heaps of animals on DOC land right throughout the country. As above, join NZDA.

Went for a wee wander last night, armed only with the camera as the block is still closed up to hunting for another few weeks. Came across this curious roo about 5 minutes from the truck. Just...

I love my poxy, cheap plasticy marlin 980s. Why? because it shoots. Cost me $350 bucks scoped and silenced, and is damn near as accurate as my mates $1800 KIDD 10/22. I think people treat 22's...

I'd recommend a CZ99 from Zastava if you are on a budget and a Ruger 77/22 if you are not.
