   There is a fairly predictable curve when it comes to 3 shot vs 5 shot vs 10 shot. Brian Litz has an entire chapter on dispersion in his latest book. I think people also confuse an undefined...

   read way back in the day about British longrange trials where they used the new to me expression ' group dispersion ' . . . it seemed such a good method i've always wondered why its not used more

   Which would make it statistically better than 5 or 10 shot groups because you had to reload,reaim and rebuild your poistion ten times vs once[emoji6] Of course that is more testing the shooter...

    I got caught with doing 3 shot groups with a rifle that was shooting erratically. Initally blamed the scope, so changed it and re zeroed. Thought the 2nd shot must have been bad cos 1&3 were spot on....
