Finnwolf liked post by Backcountry Bob On thread : 222 vs 223 on deer
Bought my Sako Vixen .222 from the NZFS in the early 70's for $180 if my memory is correct. Still got it. Had it re-blued and re-chequered a few years ago and restored the accuracy by cutting an inch...

Finnwolf liked post by Cyclops On thread : Firearm storage near National park village
Technically leaving a firearm, unattended, in a motel room breaks the law. Leaving a firearm in a locked case, case locked to the vehicle, for more than 60 minutes breaks the law. Those of use...

Finnwolf liked post by Maddoghunter On thread : Firearm storage near National park village
There must be plenty of North Island hunters that drive to South Island to hunt, and vice versa. They most likely stay in a motel at some stage and probably treat themselves to a nice dinner out at...

I took part in the Horizon survey in question. For context, their polls historically lean quite left and urban. So the audience responding is unlikely to know or understand firearms much if at all. ...

Either the way you are loading the bipod, or lack of. Equally shooting angles will affect your impact. Gravity only works vertically, not diagonally along the shooting angle
