Made several sets out of garden stakes, the steel with plastic covering, 4 - 5mm nylock nuts and bolts. Can't photo as a Mate burrowed them and never gave them back.

I use springer air rifles, the hold technique is to let the front grip slide, artillery hold. Got a forwards & backwards recoil that buggers up accuracy. Done this a few times with the 308, large...

Can't speak from experience brass wise, but know F class shooters who hate Hornady brass. Tend to stick to Laupa or Norma but in saying that I've had Winchester and ADI brass that shot really well.
