I would be more worried about where/who the gear is to be used for/on. A lot of unnecessary Wars on our Planet. Heard of Donbass (East Ukraine) a lot of Sniper activity there - by local AND NATO...

From an engineering perspective the NEAR rail hands down. Lower and fits into the dovetails with an integral recoil lug. No drilling and tapping. I've had both. B

In other words, buy a rifle for hunt and a rifle for target! I know it may be impossible or expensive but realistic!!! I would buy a Tikka TAC1 for target and a Tikka lite for hunt...
