I love the surge of torque from a turbo diesel. I am not sold they are the cheapest to run tho. ironically, the more economical your modern diesel is the worse the numbers look for diesel km tax. ...

my mrs had a early 2000 falcon, open rd did 650 ks $100 petrol , put caravan on and you could see the fuel gauge move . Definitely Diesel for towing in my books.

The dealer doesn't always win. My last traded in hilux only went for another month before the head gave out and then the clutch. The dealer had to fix it up for the next owner! oops my bad! :P
