Try some Hornady 165 SP (flat base) if you get the chance. Boat tails don't have any appreciable advantage over flat base under 500m and in the Hornady the SP holds together better than the BT.

Id do that crossing in the rav. Wouldn't even need a tarp over the bonnet at that river flow ;) in fact if I thought I would get away with it(probably not) I would do it in the swift at that level.

Looks like using Google Earth, you can draw a path, with as many waypoints as you like, then save that path as a KML file. May do what you want?

I have tried both methods gibo. But when things aren't biting I change my lure regularly and that is the quickest method.Also coming into dark retying is a bit of a mission with a bung eye.
