Greetings, It was introduced as the 6.8 or .270 Fury as a military and later commercial cartridge. About the size of a 7mm-08 but with .270 Win or better performance. The steel head cases came out...

Well said Micky Duck, From reading your posts including the above you are not the type of person to work up from max. You start low and work up to a medium level that works for you (and would work...

Greetings dannyb, I did note on the video that they were using velocity to validate or correct pressure same as I do. The difference is that I use pressure tested data for the cartridge rather than...

Greetings Blackfern, I have been using the 145 grain flat base Hot-Cor for 600 yard F-Class shooting and they shoot very well. I am loading 41 grains of AR2206H (Hodgdon book max) in Lapua cases...

Greetings Hunter_Nick, I don't have a .44 WCF but have read enough to understand that they are a whole new worm hole to go down. I suggest that you try and find someone who loads for them to help as...

Greetings All, In another thread I talked about my simple methods for validating load data. The cartridge was the .260 Rem with the 140 grain plus projectiles and AR2209 powder. I have started a new...

Greetings. After reading Grey Kiwi's post recommending the .30-30 it crossed my mind that the .308 can easily be downloaded with AR2206H to .30-30 velocity. Only a Lee Loader and perhaps a hand...

Greetings, I suggest you repeat the test with a better aiming mark. A hollow square or circle that you can quarter with your cross hairs will work a lot better. Also consider zeroing at 200 metres....

Greetings, Get the 7mm-08. Much less drama to load for and more than adequate for 350 metres. Any of the other cartridges of that capacity from the 6.5's up to the .308 would be just as good. GPM.
