Same general times they go each year based on the area and conditions etc. I normally work off late March - mid/late April as the general rule for wild reds with peaks and lows throughout that window...

As a total WAG for Hawkes Bay I pick 21 March for Reds. In the UK their date works out to 25 March. I have often heard an early Sika roar in the last week end in March. Grandpamac.
