either the hornady 55grn or best of all barnes 50 grn ttsx....those wee mono jobbies are just the ticket....chest shots and down they go.

mate uses 69gr of 2217 in his rem 700. Shoots the 162eldx @ 2940. That is the max load according to ADI and I think that is accurate. 24" barrel too

Powder used in 223nut is adi 2217 I'm not home at the .moment but will post up load details when I get a chance. Will you be developing a load yourself or have you got someone that can help you ?

Semi is much easier to use when left handed (except hot brass down your shirt) or you limit (ok there are a few available now) yourself to left hand bolts only

Do it all the time, flat sea takes us about 35 minutes. Rough sea up to an hour or more. We usually stop to fish on the way over though. I have crossed it in 4-5 metre confused seas in our 7.5...
