    AFAIK the current rule is a bit like allowing a drunk driver to continue driving as long as they have a licenced driver sitting beside them, so if its relating to that its probably reasonable enough.

    And knowing a few police officers personally, from the conversations I've had with them on topics like this they seem to agree with most of us and be just as frustrated with the bureaucrats.

    Anyone who says they never miss is a liar ;) Mine are zeroed at 70, BDC reticle helps further out but if not using a rangefinder you do have to be shooting a lot to keep your eye in for judging...
