A red dot is good imo far better then a laser. The 22 has a pretty cricket ball trajectory so as you often get targets at different ranges needing hold over a lazer is not much use. Great on treed...

I have a bit of a OCD thing on things that cut being sharp(hangover from my other trade) I love HARD steel blades, most commercial knives are pretty soft.
