140gr partition, old fashioned but excellent out to 350m for me. No need to change to a “better” projectile.

I love my Sako. Good out to 300m with 55 grain game kings. Even shot a fallow buck and 4 or 5 sika stags with it, most recently a scraggy 6 pointer at 330m to the shoulder, dropped and didn't move....

140 Partitions for me. Not the most accurate projectile but I’m not the most accurate shooter.

I would think 222 perfectly adequate, used the 22-250 with both fallow and sika, never had one walk away. Head or neck shot best but through the chest with 55gr gameking still perfectly OK. A mate...

Simple single rifle holder up front. Larger rack fitted to the back and a small aluminium and plastic trailer to tow, with removable tow bar. All fits on my road trailer. 52503

Home made, couldn't buy a nice light one that one person could lift onto trailer. Beer and welding what could go wrong.
