16501 You need one of these. From memory the mount is about £35 but its a great bit of kit. Google "nightmaster 800", if you want a gun mounted light they are the one to have.

iv got a 3-9 vx1 on one of my 22s and a simmons 3-9 on another at the ranges you shoot with the 22 I never take it above 5 power if ever taking it off 3 power they kinda just ended up there after...
