   Sight them in where you "guess/think" they should be then go for a drive/walk/ride somewhere & check them first before you try to shoot something at extended ranges, ie further than what you sighted...

   May help if you have 1/4 moa clicks. 1 click will move the bullet impact 1/4″ at 100 yards. But you need to make 4x times number of clicks (16 clicks=1″) to move the bullet impact the same distance...
