   GWH 42.7gr 2208 mate and 20" tube - seems to shoot pretty well. Only shot two animals with this load to date. Timmay - I plan to re-chamber my spare T3 7/08 barrel to .284 when I feel the need.

   Just shoot at 14 power if you want to use your mil dots. I've shot 6 inch targets at 1000 and shot at the 1400 target with the 12x power on my 6.5 at brads.

   Your method would work as well and would be more fun that my method, but my method can be used in residential areas etc where shooting is not possible or practical.

   Interesting..... I"m shooting them in my 7/08 @2650fps 2.905" (long action setup). I have a spare near new (less than 70 shots) T3 7/08 barrel in the cupboard for in the future ;)
