   I would say 162 gn proj doing 2800 is about perfect for normal hunting range surely? Maybe That's why we are seeing the impressive lack of meat damage. There is such a thing as too fast I reckon....

    Tru-Oil versus Linseed. I find Tru-Oil gives a more durable finish with virtually no ongoing maintenance. I do apply Birchwood Casey Wax occasionally. Linseed gives a more traditional deep luster...
