    I am not shy about discussing it and don't feel the need to apoligise. Also I think explaning it by saying that it's a source of food is a bit of a cop out as not every animal thats shot is eaten. ...

    Don't worry about it man. They obviously know you eat meat, explain why you like to harvest your own vs. buying from a supermarket. Explain that more often than not the odds are in the animals...

    What mag range are you looking at? As the scopes you have there aren't an upgrade, maybe even a step down. If you want more mag I'd stick with a different model PST
