My M7 is 1:9 and it stabilises up to 70 grain. It shoots particularly well with 69 grn Targex. Mine has quite a tight chamber and pops primers .5grn before book max. Gets the speed though.

I'm running 44grs 2209 powder behind a 120 grn sierra pro hunter pill ..2879 fps in an 18inch Model 7. It has a bad habit of being extremely spot on and keeps wanting ti go into the same hole lol..
