How far have you pushed your current set up? It’s possibly a lot more capable than you think it is. A 168 Berger or ABLR in front of Retumbo or RL26 is no slouch on long range steel or animals.

here a comparison including N28. 128188 I'm getting ~3060 fps with 7BM with 180 VLDs & RL26 with groups around 0.3moa if i do my part well.

you can achieve more with your RM but need to go to slower burn rate powders like RL25 or 26, or AR2225, and like GWH says bigger , higher BC pills like the 180 VLD's or ELDM's even if that means...

My guess would be that is why these barrels were removed. I can't imagine they would have shot well and the amount of deep scratching in the chamber walls right around where you'd normally see case...

Back into it, I put together some Speer 80gr soft point projectiles with 26.5gr of H4895 (.5gr off the listed max charge). These are also a harder jacketed hunting bullet so should do well on deer....
