Many gunsmiths refuse to rechamber Tikka barrels due to how hard they are on the reamer.

I've seen this on an old 17 Remington I had. The hypothesis the gunsmith and I came up with was that the rifling at the end of the barrel was on a 'loose' spot that only gave contact with one side...

The H&F store in Whakatane still stocks, sells, and warranties the Vortex Diamondbacks... a bit of a slow warranty turnaround though. I suppose since each H&F is a separate franchise, one store...
