I reckon the key to being tender is ageing. If you can keep it cool hang it for a week with the skin on. Any less than 4 or 5 days is asking for a chewy piece of meat. I’m also a fan of a good...

I don't think any scope would help a ruger 10/22 shoot rabbits reliably @200 yards, they are just too inaccurate.

I whacked a Vortex viper on my T1X, found some data on web for CCI Standards and went and had a play at my mates range. Was intending on doing a comp down south. Quite surprising how accurate they...

I see a bit of wap in the neck colouring.. bit hard to really answer for sure though without having a mix lined up in the paddock or the deer shed. The hybrids can be very much a spectrum, especially...

Looks red to me. There’s a continuum in the features between reds, through a hybrid to a wapiti. A couple of the more easily seen features are the shape of the ears. Wapiti very round and furry, reds...

Yes I'm sure you're correct Hugh. I was taught from the get-go by father and grandfather to shoot off the shoulder once I could hold the rifle. At 4 I was on the ground prone..Havnt made a habit of...

Two things can be true at the same time. I shoot a 260 and it's great, even has a little better performance the 6.5cm. I'm not going to recommend it to a new shooter though as their choice of...

if what I read on you tube posts from USA the 6.5cm is already on its way out replaced with yes supposed bigger better - 308 and 270 just carry on regardless as they always have done

Yeah mate, ended up with 42 on the ute (made a full tray!) Had a 22-250 doing most of the work along side a .308 (slight overkill, but surplus ammo). Majority of them 120-160m a couple out to 280m....
