I’ve got a barely used .358 win barrel here, could be reamed to 35 Whelen. Problem is I think the barrel threads on the BRNO are a touch bigger than the Remington it came from..

Certainly a beautiful rifle that I’d love to own, wicked piece of walnut too. Just a shame that (considering the price) the checkering is machine cut…. Get out there and give it some ‘character’!

There’s a lot to be gained (well lost really) going from .308 to .224. Just had a rifle re-barrelled to 22 creedmoor which with 88’s will drift 20% less than a 178gr .308 load, and recoil 50% less...
