If you want good advice and customer service then I wouldn't recommend "H&F". I buy some stuff at Guncity, both shops. I seem to get more realistic service/banter etc from the one on the main road...

Or you could just take him hunting chamois with the 223. Its an excellent calibre for chamois, shoots flat, knocks em flat.

We aint got "wild turkeys" here in NZ - theyre all descendants of domestic birds. Some properties make em "wild" by hoozling them up on 4 wheelers, or with a chopper. And some are reasonably wary...

I've flown with Prout's a good number of times and think you will find he is more than competitive for the flight times required to get to all those good spots up the head of the Rangi or Rakaia....
