If its close to other human activity then it may very well stay in the area. Keep going back, but pick your days, pick a day when you think deer will be active. Its a kinda 6th sense that you develop...

Excellent barrels, excellent service, and they stand by their product. Buy with confidence.

I used 60gn Hornady's in my 222, worked fine. And in my 22-250. Good ol' fashioned cup and core, nothing fancy, stick it in the crease, job done.

Now if I could find a Contender and fit it with a 250 Barrel, that would smoke my tires! Last build I would ever need to do.

Monarch in a CF2 stock. Would need a good pick of the side of the action to see if its a featherweight, but serial # suggests it is. Monarch had integral dovetails, CF2 didn't have dovetails.

I had one for a number of years, was a "bitsa" I cobbled together over a period of time. Basically was a nice PH conversion that had a BSA Target barrel. Dont know what the "target" thing was meant...

Well done, conditions were rather trying, so well deserved.
