   Against that, the can sits on the ground so you are likely to get crap into the cooking gear putting the can in there??? No issue with CO if cooking outside, none whatsoever as it's denser/heavier...

   I use the Gasmate 230gm canisters from Bunnings, 75/25 butane/propane mix. They don't sell smaller sizes unfortunately, but they're cheap @ $6.90 & I don't know how they deal with the cold but fine...

    Nothing wrong with Kovea which is probably the most readily available, Jetboil, Primus powergas and MSR are all equally as good if you can find them.
