Biggest way to reduce recoil is reduce bullet weight. Recoil pad, technique, brake etc all good recommendations. Bullet weight will make them all more effective by a lot. Maybe look at the 130gn...

Reason why we have always taken our rifles to DPT to get done in person. Too important to get it messed up. Similarly protect your threads when not in use.

Very similar situation for Hutt Valley Woody. Very busy range, 700 members, but little by way of comps or club shoots. Kapiti is reasonably active in terms of club shoots.
