About Jewcati
Biography:
Mostly grew up in and around Auckland, spent a lot of time in the BOP growing up with family there. Been in the architecture industry for 10 years now, mostly commercial work or dumb residential developments for pushy developers.

Love bolt guns and anything that goes bang really. Been interested in history, and warfare, for mostly all of my life which inevitably leads to interest in small arms. New stuff is cool, but nothing beats a late 19th C. infantry rifle or crew served weapon.

One day I'll get that MG3..
Location:
Nor-West Auckland
Interests:
Architecture, history in general, construction, and bikes.
Occupation:
CAD Manager

I would rather be shot out of a cannon, than squeezed out of a tube.

I got my AR as a kitset. I really enjoyed putting it together and I loved seeing how it worked. I hunted with mine from bunnies to deer. I loved the ergonomics of it. Plus it was cool.

Above semi autos I more so loved the AR platform purely for modularity - having a fleet of different uppers in different barrel lengths or calibres. The ergonomics and everything worked perfectly for...

The same guys pretend they are snipers with their bolt action... The style of firearm has nothing to do with being a dickhead :D

Pest control semis all the way less escapees, stay on target for follow up shot, at least 30% +++ more effective using semis. Personally prefer bolt gun for target plinking Or teaching kids

For pest control (goats, rabbits, pigs etc) the semi is unbeatable, particularly with large mobs of goats. Having to work the bolt breaks the cheek weld and also pulls the rifle off target which...

I think you pretty much covered it. Also probably with some of the more available clip mag models, the mag capacity was a bit more although now anything more than 10 shots is now evil, that is out...

No, you need to go to a 338 or bigger diametre pill that is slow, heavy and can be easily run subsonic for the coming post election law changes that ban loud noises during the birds nesting season
