   If you get carried away and end up re-finishing the stock, you could save the dust from sanding it down and mix that with Araldite. Fill the hole with this mixture and sand to shape.

   Hi John, good to see the 151 HP going that fast I have seen the damage they do at 1600 fps at 2300 they will be like bombs! The 151 is designed for the .308 chamber which is cut to fit 168 SMK's...

    stop overthinking it...you say 99% of shots will be under 200 yards...so only a very rare over 300yard effort...... find whats accurate and chuck the plurry chronicgraph away.....
