awesome stuff man short barrels can certainly shine in the rem mag we had a 22" going quicker than any rem mag iv ever heard of 3180fps ave with 162 eldx

Had one on a short .308 and absolutely loved it weight wasnt to bad as it was a short little gun anyway gave great balance with the suppressor on go for it

That's pretty underwhelming for a cartridge of that size that brass is probably rare/muck around sizing down or expensive with an overwhelming amount of powder .....

I used 210s in both my saum and 7BM both amazing rifles only ever used the 215 in my rem mag
