Tried out some 140grn BTs in the 284 yesterday but they are running out and have a bunch of Speer 130gr to try next under Belmont 760 for a nice Smaller deer load.

I would go for a starting load of a slow powder like 2217 to keep the case fill up. Worked very well in 270 using 2217

I would never use them again after too many wouldn't expand and just make a pencil wound on big reds. The 7mm 162 eldm however was a good projectile when I used in the 7mm rem mag
