There's more than enough deer and trout on public land. Around the times you're talking the private stuff will probably be just as hammered anyway. Just because you're paying doesn't make it better....

Is there really enough of a difference between the two to make it worth while? If you really want a 223 rather than bastardise a sought after classic just sell it and/or buy another rifle in 223.

Certainly not in line with industry. Hot boning far easier to break down a carcass. Many other efficiency's though in a full scale production facilities.
