    I suppose my last post was not addressing your real problem. Have you put anything else on this rifle, scope wise? Warne are a robust ring and my issue with them is it is very easy to crush a scope...

    Throw them in the skip bin and start again. I fuckin hate Warne rings. Unless you have a torque wrench they are are really good way to crush a scope tube IMO
