   Stick with the 7mm08 unless you really want to go shorter. That's damn good speeds. The 284 will just let you keep those speeds at around 16 inches barrel length.

   Been flip-flopping about a 284win win build but my 20" 7mm08 tikka does 2630fps with 162gr ELD-M without leaning on it too hard. Doesn't seem like much gain for the hassle.
