Son and I got 5 Saturday, 3 Sunday morning, and 7 on our last day of the season - Monday. Pic shows what it's all about. Had a rooster dead to rights at 20 metres, but dogs were on the other side...

Found this (presumed) orphan early January. It was nibbling on leaves etc, so may survive. Photo off my video camera, so not the sharpest image. 225482

Well - you have two choices on pheasants. Slow the dog down, or speed yourself up. Sometimes I amaze myself with these little pearls of wisdom!!

Not sure what you are specifically issuing an apology for, but I didn't see anything dramatic. Anyway - thanks to you and any other mods for the work you do.

Went out Tuesday morning and it was very quiet, except for a group of 5 Parries that came in. Only 2 went out, so 3 for 3. 224963

Two of us accounted for 5 mallies and 1 pheasant on Saturday. On Sunday, this was all we got - no shots fired!! 225278

Four mallards this morning. Had these spoonies come in, but they are just too pretty to shoot. May have been a different story early in the season! 224177
